[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]India is reeling under Covid-19. In the last four weeks, India has had more than 40,000 deathswithmore than 10 million people testing positive.
The healthcare infrastructure is overburdened and crumbling.
People in lower income groups have been unable to access any healthcare support like essential medicines, pulse oxy-meters, doctors, nurses, ICU care, oxygen, etc.
At the moment, the crisis is visible in bigger cities. But a disaster is waiting to happen in smaller cities, towns and possibly villages, where the quality of medical infrastructure is much worse than big cities.
Cranfield Indian Alumni have tied up with Life Wins Foundation (LWF), a registered charity that works on the ground with doctors and healthcare workers at several places in India. LWF is also registered under section 80G of Indian Income Tax Act, which makes donors eligible for 50% deduction on the contributed amount.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css_animation=”fadeInUp” css=”.vc_custom_1620420229924{background-color: #ddc090 !important;}”]
